Here are a couple of my favorite videos from the other night at the smallest venue in NYC.
I am about to begin rehearsals for The Marriage of Figaro at NYU Steinhardt in a new English translation and version by Tony Britten. Once again, I will be working alongside the extraordinary music director and vocal teacher Michael Ricciardone–as well as the remarkable pianist and co-assistant music director Ben Baker.
Performances will be April 4-7 at the NYU Skirball Center.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with two of my favorite up-and-coming actors, Alexandra Nader and Liz Byrne, on an evening of cabaret songs to be presented at the Theatre Under St. Marks this Sunday, January 13 @ 9pm. Tickets are $10.
Here is the facebook invitation.
And a video of Alex singing there a few weeks ago.
I’ll be accompanying a new song written by the live-and-well New York composer, Michael Jackson at JOE’s PUB this Monday, January 7 @ 11:30pm. I am particularly excited this event will be hosted by Marc Summers, the previous host of one of my Nickelodeon favorites: Double Dare.
Check out the show info here.
I had the opportunity to assist Julie Danielson in the Music Theatre for Young People production of SEUSSICAL this December. Even though the show has already passed, I wanted to provide a quick endorsement for this incredible program that changes so many lives in the Kansas City area.
Please take a look at their website.
And here is a blurb about the production that featured Bebe Wood from The New Normal.
